When a child or teen is separated from their parents the negative effects can be lasting and our trained staff work to minimize this traumatic experience. Child & Family has 5 group homes in Newport County offering Trauma-Informed Residential Treatment programming in line with nationally recognized best practice approaches. Our homes currently care for children between the ages of 8 and 18.
Child & Family’s Adopt-A-Home program affords an exceptional opportunity that allows for businesses, civic and church groups, as well as individual financial contributors, to enrich the lives of its Residential Group Home children and teens. This program funds additional resources for nurturing a safe and healthy environment in our group homes.
